The main driver chip is IXDD614, with a peak drive current of 14A and a normal drive current of 4A, so it can be used in high-power, high-frequency applications (with ZCS IGBT). I added some components to it to achieve over-current detection output protection function and drive signal isolation. In order to save space, the board is drawn with 2 units, that is, 2-way drivers together.

I feel that the constant current drive promoted by some drivers is not appropriate. From the above figure, we can see that the IGBT drive current is similar to a sine change, and the peak current is very large. In order to obtain a shorter turn-on time, the peak output current of the driver is required to be larger. If the constant current is large, it is better. If the constant current is small, the turn-on time will be extended, which is equivalent to turning the tip of the sine into a line. If the area remains unchanged, the time axis will become longer.
