Four major categories of lighting sources

LED (Light Emitting Diode), a light-emitting diode, is a solid-state semiconductor device that can directly convert electricity into light. The heart of the LED is a semiconductor chip. One end of the chip is attached to the LED on a bracket, one end is the negative pole, and the other end is connected to the positive pole of the power supply, so that the entire chip is encapsulated by epoxy resin. The semiconductor chip consists of two parts, one part is a P-type semiconductor, in which holes dominate, and the other end is an N-type semiconductor, which is mainly electrons. But when these two semiconductors are connected, a "PN junction" is formed between them. When current acts on the chip through a wire, electrons will be pushed to the P region, where electrons and holes recombine, and then they will emit energy in the form of photons. This is the principle of LED luminescence. The wavelength of light, that is, the color of light, is determined by the material that forms the PN junction.

Also known as LED guardrail tube, LED guardrail light, LED outline light; this product is often used for building outline installation, KTV door head or advertising sign, as well as highway and bridge guardrail lighting projects; it can achieve colorful flowing water, chasing, scanning and other effects; if it is made into an LED digital tube screen (LED digital sign), it can produce various dazzling animations and patterns, and can also play videos; it can produce text and patterns.

According to the effect, it can be divided into: single-color always-on color (red, yellow, blue, green, white); seven-color can be divided into: single-segment seven-color gradient jump; true six-segment, true eight-segment, 12-segment, 16-segment, 32-segment, 48-segment, etc.

According to the control method, it is divided into: internal control and external control.

Internal control: Internal control of LED guardrail tube is to write the required program directly into the working IC chip of the LED guardrail tube, and the flower pattern can be directly run out after the power is turned on; external control simply requires an external controller; the controller is divided into offline system and online system; the online system refers to the control system that works on a computer (mostly used for LED digital tube screens); the offline system does not need to be attached to a computer, and the control signal can be input to drive the LED guardrail tube after power is connected.

The external control LED guardrail tube should understand the direction of the signal. Generally, the male head is the signal input and the female head is the signal output. Then install it according to the signal direction diagram provided by the manufacturer. If it is installed incorrectly, it will have to be folded down and reinstalled, which is time-consuming, labor-intensive and costly. Another thing is the power supply installation: if it is a DC (direct current) LED digital tube, you must pay attention to it. Under normal circumstances: the two-core small plug is the power supply, the red line is the positive pole, and the blue line is the negative pole; after installation, you must first check the circuit and confirm that it is OK before powering on; otherwise, the LED digital tube will burn out, seriously affecting the project acceptance.

2.LED rainbow tube

Also known as LED light strip, LED melamine lamp; is one of the most commonly used products in lighting projects, and the price is relatively cheap, it is a favorite LED lamp product of many customers. It is mainly suitable for places with low cost and the required effect does not need to be too dazzling; it can be used for building or signboard outlines; iron letters or modeling edges; ceiling or KTV dark groove decoration, etc.

Round two-wire, round three-wire, flat two-wire, square two-wire, flat three-wire, flat four-wire, flat five-wire, flat seven-wire, etc.; there are red, yellow, blue, green, white, red + blue, red green and blue, red yellow and blue, red yellow blue and green, etc.; generally the flashing effect can be achieved through the controller in a row-jumping manner.

LED rainbow tubes include LED light strips, LED flexible neon lights, etc. When installing, try not to remove the light strips from the reel and then pull them onto the building as a whole; because if you use too much force, the main line of the light strip will break, causing irreparable damage to the light strip; if there is a non-light unit in the middle, you can cut off the non-light unit with a blade and then connect it with the middle joint. Here we should remind you that the plug and tail plug should be waterproof when used outdoors.

In addition, when using wires, pay attention to their power load and load; if the power consumption of the project is not large, the main line should use the national standard 4 square millimeter main line, and the line from the transformer to the lamp should use 2.5 square millimeter wire. Use Category 5e network cable as much as possible for signal lines. The transformer and controller should be waterproof and rainproof.
