The evolution criterion of the basic PWM DC/DC converter is: without considering the input/output reference potential relationship, the input/output voltage relationship remains unchanged, and the main circuit relationship remains unchanged, that is, equivalent conversion. Under this basic criterion, the evolution of the circuit can be achieved by transposition of components. As shown in the Buck in Figure 1, the Boost in Figure 2, and the Buck-Boost circuit in Figure 3. Although the position of the components in the circuit has changed, the topological relationship of the circuit has not changed, and the input/output voltage relationship has not changed. Therefore, the circuit after evolution is equivalent to the circuit before evolution. Since the switch tube in the circuit is actually unidirectionally conductive, it is equivalent to connecting a diode in series to the switch tube, and the conversion relationship still holds.

As shown in Figure 1, the evolution of the Buck circuit

Figure 2 shows the evolution of the Boost circuit.

Application design of PWM music player based on STM32
In the development of scientific research projects, sometimes you need to play phone ringtones, music, etc. The simple way is to buy a dedicated music chip, but the disadvantage of this method is that the content played is immutable and cannot meet the project requirements well. Generally, 89C51 and other single-chip m

Applications of LTC3601/LTC3604 Monolithic DC/DC Converters
When a relatively high voltage rail (12V) must be stepped down to a relatively low level (3.3V, 1.8V), the converter traditionally used is a DC/DC switching controller driving an external MOSFET. In many applications, replacing the typical controller-MOSFET-diode combination with a monolithic regulator can save spac

What does commutation of brushless motor mean? Commutation of a brushless motor is the process of transferring current from one phase to the next, depending on the current position of the motor rotor. Commutation is done to ensure that the magnetic field on the motor rotor is synchronized with the magnetic fiel
