The following points should be noted when using silicon photocells:

① The output characteristics of silicon photocells are related to the load. Under certain lighting conditions, when the load is very small, the output current of the silicon photocell approaches the short-circuit current; and when the load is very small, the output voltage approaches the open-circuit voltage. Therefore, when using silicon photocells, the maximum power output can only be obtained when the load resistance is determined to be a certain value.

② Silicon photocells can be used in series or parallel to meet the required voltage or current value.

③ There is an anti-reflective film on the surface of the silicon photocell. When using it, avoid damaging its surface. If there is dirt on the surface, wipe it gently with an alcohol cotton ball.

④ When using, the silicon photocell should be free from interference from the external environment to avoid generating false signals.
