The XC6222 series is a high-speed LDO voltage regulator that achieves high accuracy, low noise, high ripple rejection, low dropout voltage, and low current consumption.
The internal components include a reference voltage source, an error amplifier, a drive transistor, a current limiting circuit, an overheat protection circuit, a reverse current prevention circuit, and a phase compensation circuit.
Inputting a low level to the CE terminal puts the IC into standby mode.
In the standby state, the charge of the output stabilization capacitor (CL) can be discharged by the internal switch between the VOUT pin and the VSS pin.
This discharge function can quickly return the VOUT pin to the VSS potential.
Overcurrent protection circuit and overheat protection circuit are built in. When the output current reaches the limited current or the junction temperature reaches the limited temperature, the protection circuit will start to work.
By using the reverse current prevention function of the driver transistor, reverse current does not flow even when the VOUT pin voltage is higher than the VIN pin voltage, thereby eliminating the need for a diode to protect the IC.
