Today we explain in detail the classification of the current mainstream mobile power supplies and the classification of mobile power battery cells:

Mobile power classification: There are five categories as follows

Type 1, mobile power with lighting function, built-in energy-saving super-powerful LED lighting, very energy-saving. If used solely for LED lighting, it can be used for 3 hours to 30 hours or even longer depending on the size of the built-in battery capacity, which depends on the battery capacity of the mobile power.

Type 2, a mobile power bank with only charging function, this charger does not have any other extended functions. The advantage is that this type of charger has a large capacity and is very suitable for professional external power supply.

Type 3: Mobile power with solar panels, which can be charged by sunlight during use to achieve the purpose of replenishing power. This type of mobile power was previously mainly used in special forces and special industries. With the gradual improvement of the conversion rate of solar panels in civilian use, it is now gradually becoming popular.

Type 4, using flexible monolithic integrated circuit pv thin film solar panels,

Lightweight and flexible power source (6 photos) Solar energy is stored in batteries, and the electricity converted from solar energy can also be directly transmitted to electronic devices. In poor light conditions, it can also maximize the energy capture efficiency. It is bendable and waterproof, and is more flexible and lightweight than other solar products.

Type 5, the highest quality and safest mobile power source produced with the latest technology and the safest lithium polymer battery, stores the electricity in the battery cell and transmits the electricity to the electronic device faster and faster. It can be charged and used at any time, and can be charged while playing. It is convenient, fast, and safe. Compared with other mobile power products, it has the highest safety.

The core components of different types of mobile power supplies can be briefly divided into two parts: one is the medium for storing electricity, and the other is the medium for converting other energy into electricity. Therefore, the quality of the battery cell can be used as one of the important criteria for measuring the quality of mobile power supplies.

Classification of mobile power batteries: There are two specific categories:

There are only two types of power bank batteries, one is the common 18650 lithium battery, and the other is the lithium polymer battery. The two are very different in material composition and appearance.

1. Ordinary 18650 lithium battery

The advantages of ordinary lithium battery are: because of the long development time, the price of the battery is very low. Disadvantages: there are many waste and refurbished batteries, and due to process reasons, the problem rate and failure rate are high. The system is large, heavy, the service life is short and there is a possibility of explosion, which is a very fatal disadvantage. At present, mainstream mobile power supplies are gradually eliminating this kind of battery. In the future, this ordinary lithium battery will gradually withdraw from the stage of history.

2. Lithium polymer battery cell

According to the different electrolyte materials used in lithium-ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries can be divided into two categories: liquid lithium-ion batteries (LIB) and polymer lithium-ion batteries (LIP). The positive and negative electrode materials used in polymer lithium-ion batteries are the same as those of liquid lithium-ion batteries. The positive electrode materials can be divided into lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxide, ternary materials and lithium iron phosphate materials. The negative electrode is graphite, and the working principle of the battery is basically the same. The main difference between them lies in the difference in electrolytes. Liquid lithium-ion batteries use liquid electrolytes, while polymer lithium-ion batteries use solid polymer electrolytes instead. This polymer can be "dry" or "colloidal". At present, most of them use lithium polymer colloidal electrolytes.
