1. Power calculation method for LED blister luminous characters: The power calculation method for general LED modules is: quantity * 0.24W = power. Generally, there are various power supplies close to the required ones on the market, and the power supplies should also be selected from some power supplies produced by guaranteed manufacturers, and the power supplies should also be waterproofed; 2. When calculating the power, you should also reserve line losses as much as possible, and you must not overload the power supply; generally only 70% is used; 3. It should be noted that the power supplies on the market generally do not have sufficient power.
The biggest features of LED 3D luminous characters: 1. The characters are bright and eye-catching at night (a new type of ultra-bright light source is installed, which has a long service life and makes it emit dazzling light according to the color of the acrylic board). 2. Strong three-dimensional sense (the thicker the wall panel, the stronger the three-dimensional sense). 3. Bright colors (various colors of acrylic panels can be selected at will, and the colors of the wall panels and panels can be combined at will).
How to make LED luminous characters: Step 1 >> Calculate the number of LED modules: Use equal spacing to simulate the distribution of LED modules on the computer, and make a preliminary budget for the number of LED modules required. The module spacing needs to be between 3-6cm for visual brightness, and the thickness of the luminous characters can be selected between 5-18cm. Step 2 >> Calculate the total power consumption and select the power supply: the number of budgeted LED light source modules × the power of a single module = the total power consumption. It is recommended to leave a margin for the power supply selection and use it at 80% of the rated power. Choose ordinary or waterproof power supply according to the use environment. 1. The colorful LED light string gives full play to the advantages of LED point light sources and can be combined arbitrarily, making it easier to make LED external luminous characters, large outdoor LED advertising signs, and LED electronic light boxes.
2. Special bayonet design, can be installed directly after punching, and the installation time is fast.
3. It can be used for punching various plates (such as electrolytic plates, aluminum-plastic plates, iron plates, stainless steel plates, etc.).
4. Adopt Taiwan famous brand LED chips, which have the characteristics of strong brightness, good light color consistency, good color saturation, long life and low attenuation to ensure product quality.
5. Use parallel wiring to break the traditional disadvantage of "if one light is not on, all lights will not be on".
6. The full-color light string of the fantasy series uses an intelligent control system to produce effects such as gradient, jump, chasing and scanning to display cartoon graphics, and can achieve asynchronous and synchronous control and can be arranged at will to meet the requirements of different users.

3. Application of waterproof LED light string:

It is mainly used for: large characters on the roof of buildings, outdoor signs of hotels, signs of entertainment places such as KTV, store signs, door signs, etc.

1. Tools needed for making LED outdoor signs: 40W or 60W soldering iron, solder, electric drill, glue gun, screwdriver, etc.
2. Other materials are needed to make LED outdoor signs: punched metal letters, wires, and power supplies for colorful LED luminous characters.
3. Punching: Aperture (5mm, 9mm, 12mm), the spacing is determined by the height of the outdoor sign installation and the production cost. Generally, the center spacing of LEDs is 10-30mm. The smaller the spacing, the higher the brightness and the higher the cost.
4. Insert the lights: Clean the drilled holes and install the lights one by one.
5. Wiring: There are waterproof LED light strings that have been made and connected. Each string has a reserved wire end. Generally, the red wire is connected to the positive pole of the power supply, and the black wire end is connected to the negative pole of the LED dedicated power supply. The power supply should be placed in the power distribution box.
6. Test aging: After all LEDs are connected, check and deal with those that are not bright, and then perform aging test for 48 hours.
7. Transport to the site and set up scaffolding for on-site installation.
5. Precautions for use:
1. The voltage of the colorful LED light string is DC5; DC12; DC24. Please pay attention to which type of voltage to use.
2. The cross-sectional area of the wires leading out from the power supply cannot be less than 4 square millimeters (two wires of 2.5 are also acceptable).
3. The red electronic wire of the light string is connected to the positive pole of the power supply (some have 2 wires, and then connected to the positive pole of the power supply).
4. Connect the black electronic wire of the light string to the negative pole of the power supply (some have 2 wires, and then connect them to the negative pole of the power supply).
5. If you find that some lights are not on, please check the lights or circuits. If they are still not on, please replace the LED lights.
6. The dual-color and colorful LED full-color waterproof exposed light strings are controlled by the common positive pole controller.
7. Among the four wires of the full-color LED exposed waterproof light string, the red one is the positive pole, and the following are: positive pole, negative pole, data, and clock.
8. Calculation method of production price:
Calculate by imaginary square. What is an imaginary square? Here is an example:
For example, if you want to make a character that is 80 cm high and 60 cm wide, the area is calculated by multiplying the longest stroke of the character by 1. According to the size of the character above, its area is 0.8 square meters. Instead of calculating it according to 0.48 square meters, multiply it by the unit price. The above calculation method is only suitable for characters below one meter. The calculation method for characters above one meter is different.
For example, if the height is 1.2 meters and the width is 0.9 meters, the calculation method is the square of the maximum stroke size, that is, 1.2*1.2=1.44 square. When you want to make copper characters and iron characters, you must calculate clearly. In addition, especially when installing in a relatively high place, you must confirm whether there is any high-altitude installation fee, if so, who will bear it, etc. Generally speaking, the larger the characters, the higher the unit price. Because the larger the characters, the wider the strokes, and the higher the requirements for materials. This should be understood.
