Schematic diagram of low-end car charging solution implemented by single-chip 34063
Advantages: Low cost;
Disadvantages: (1) Poor reliability, single function; no safety measures such as over-temperature protection and short-circuit protection;
(2) Although the output is a DC voltage, the method of controlling the output constant current charging current is the maximum switching
current peak limit, and the accuracy is not high enough;
(3) Since 34063 is a 1.5A switching current PWM+PFM mode (no internal error amplifier),
the ripple of the DC voltage and current output by its car charging solution is relatively large and not pure enough; the output current capacity is also very limited
; (commonly seen in low-end car charging solutions between 300ma and 600ma)
