Display screen Getting started
LED is the abbreviation of light emitting diode, or LED for short. LED display screen (LED panel) is a display screen composed of LED device arrays that is used to display various information such as text, graphics, images, animation, market conditions, and TV and video signals through a certain control method. As a new generation of display media, it has been widely used in exhibition centers, trading centers, auction centers, financial centers, information centers, securities, telecommunications, taxation, power supply, customs, courts, fire protection, stations, airports, docks, talent markets and other public places with business halls.
Display performance
LED displays are divided into text LED displays, graphic LED displays, computer video LED displays, TV video LED displays and market LED displays according to display performance. Market LED displays generally include LED displays for securities, interest rates, futures, etc.
Display Color
LED display screens are divided into single-primary color LED display screens (including pseudo-color LED display screens), dual-primary color LED display screens and full-color (three-primary color) LED display screens according to display colors. According to grayscale, they can be divided into 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 grayscale LED display screens, etc.
Monochrome screens are generally made of red luminescent materials.
Dual-primary color screens are generally made of red and yellow-green luminescent materials.
Three-primary color screens are divided into full color (full color), which is made of red, yellow-green (wavelength 570nm), and blue; and true color (nature color), which is made of red, pure green (wavelength 525nm), and blue.
Basic light points
Among non-market LED display screens, indoor LED display screens can be divided into Φ3.0mm (62500 dots/m2), Φ3.7mm (44100 dots/m2), Φ4.8mm (27800 dots/m2), Φ5mm (17200 dots/m2), Φ8mm (10000 dots/m2) and other display screens according to the single-dot diameter of LEDs used;
Outdoor LED display screens can be divided into Φ8mm (10000 dots/m2), Φ12mm (3906 dots/m2), Φ16mm (2500 dots/m2), Φ26mm (1024 dots/m2) and other LED display screens according to the pixel diameter used. Market LED display screens can be divided into 2.0cm (0.8inch), 2.5cm (1.0inch), 3.0cm (1.2inch), 4.6cm (1.8inch), 5.8cm (2.3inch), 7.6cm (3inch) and other digital tube sizes according to the used digital tube sizes.
Usage environment
LED display screens are divided into indoor LED display screens, semi-outdoor LED display screens, and outdoor LED display screens according to the use environment.
The area of indoor screens generally ranges from less than 1 square meter to more than ten square meters, with a high point density. They are used in environments without direct sunlight or lighting, with a viewing distance of several meters. The screen body does not have the ability to be sealed and waterproof.
Semi-outdoor screens are between outdoor and indoor, with higher luminous brightness . They can be used outdoors without direct sunlight. The screen body is sealed to a certain extent, usually under the eaves or in the window.
The area of outdoor screens generally ranges from a few square meters to dozens or even hundreds of square meters. The dot density is relatively sparse (mostly 1000-10000 dots per square meter), the luminous brightness is 3000-6000cd/square meter (different orientations have different brightness requirements), and it can be used under direct sunlight. The viewing distance is tens of meters away, and the screen has good wind, rain and lightning protection capabilities.
Installation
Built-in, step-type, hanging, wall-mounted, front maintenance, hinged
Synchronous and asynchronous
The synchronous mode means that the working mode of the LED display is basically equivalent to that of a computer monitor. It maps the image on the computer monitor in real time with a point-to-point update rate of at least 30 fields/second. It usually has the ability to display multiple grayscale colors and can achieve multimedia advertising effects.
The asynchronous mode means that the LED screen has the ability to store and automatically play. The text and non-grayscale images edited on the PC are transmitted to the LED screen through the serial port or other network interface , and then the LED screen automatically plays offline. Generally, it does not have the ability to display multiple grayscales. It is mainly used to display text information and can be connected to multiple screens.
The main functions of the capture card
LED display is a special display medium. It cannot directly receive computer data and needs to undergo a series of transformations. The function of the acquisition card is to collect the display data of a high-speed computer (or multimedia display card), convert it, and transmit it to the main controller at a reduced frequency.
