LTC3803-5 is a fixed frequency constant current mode flyback power supply controller from Linear Corporation that works at –55℃ to 150℃. It is most suitable for driving high input voltage N-MOSFET. The operating voltage can be as low as 5V, the output voltage accuracy can reach ±1.5%, and the quiescent current is only 240uA. It is mainly used in 42V and 12V automotive power supplies, communication power supplies, Ethernet power supply (POE), auxiliary power supplies, etc. This article introduces the main features, block diagram and various application circuits of LTC3803-5.
