Power management solutions
Power management is a hot technology today. Power management includes power monitoring, sequencing, and margining (Figure 1). Power management requires a new approach. Figure 2 shows the solution from Zilker Labs.

Power Management IC ZL2005
Zilker Labs has launched the power management IC ZL2005, the functional block diagram of which is shown in Figure 3. The features of ZL2005 are:

The typical application circuit of ZL2005 is shown in Figure 4.
The improvement of transient response by the ZL2005 nonlinear loop is shown in Figure 5. The efficiency performance of the ZL2005 is shown in Figure 5.

Conclusion
The Zilker power management solution has good performance (high-speed conversion, high efficiency, 1% output accuracy, fast transient response), flexibility and ease of use (pin strapping, resistor setting or setting through SMBus, no programming required, 1 device for many applications, online design tools simplify circuit design) and smaller size (fewer discrete components, elimination of power management chips ). The Zilker solution is a complete and easy-to-use power management solution.
