Definition of LED solar lawn light:

Solar lawn lights mainly use the energy of solar cells to work. When sunlight shines on the solar cells during the day, the light energy is converted into electrical energy and stored in the battery. The battery then provides power for the LED (light-emitting diode) of the lawn light at night. Its advantages are mainly safety, energy saving, convenience, and environmental protection. It is suitable for beautification and lighting of green lawns in residential communities and beautification and embellishment of park lawns.

The structure of LED solar lawn light:

It consists of solar cell components (photovoltaic panels), super bright LED lights (light sources), maintenance-free rechargeable batteries, automatic control circuits, lamps, etc.

LED solar lawn light system composition:

The solar lawn light boost IC can automatically switch between charging and discharging. When the solar charging panel senses sunlight during the day, it automatically switches to turn off the light and enters the charging state. When night falls and the solar charging panel cannot sense sunlight, it automatically switches to the battery discharge state and turns on the light. The solar lawn light boost IC can increase the output voltage of a 1.5 volt rechargeable battery to 3.6 volts.

One set of circuit board IC should be equipped with one No. 5 rechargeable battery to drive 1-7 LED light-emitting diodes; multiple sets of circuit board IC and so on; the integrated circuit of the solar lawn lamp controller and some peripheral components, the main functions include charging circuit, driving circuit, photosensitive control circuit and pulse width modulation circuit, etc. The controller has high conversion efficiency: 80~85% (typical value), which can reduce the power requirement of solar cell panels; low starting voltage: 0.9V (maximum value); adjustable output current and other characteristics.

LED solar lawn light source advantages:

At present, most lawn lamps use LED as the light source. LED has a long life span of more than 100,000 hours and a low operating voltage, which makes it very suitable for use in solar lawn lamps. In particular, LED technology has undergone a key breakthrough, and its characteristics have been greatly improved in the past five years, and its performance-price ratio has also been greatly improved. In addition, LED is powered by low-voltage DC, and its light source control cost is low, making it possible to adjust the brightness and frequent switching without adversely affecting the performance of the LED. It can also easily control the color, change the distribution of light, and produce dynamic illusions, so it is particularly suitable for solar lawn lamps.

Solar lawn light source and power system design method has developed rapidly in recent years due to the unique advantages of solar lawn lights. Lawn lights have low power, are mainly used for decoration, have high requirements for mobility, are difficult to lay circuits, and are suitable for sites with high waterproof requirements. These make solar powered lawn lights show many unprecedented advantages.
