1 System Overview
In traditional remote video monitoring systems, optical cables are usually laid between monitoring points and monitoring centers as transmission channels. Optical terminals are connected to both ends of the optical cables as video signal conversion devices, which is an "analog-to-digital" process. The monitoring center then compiles the analog signal into a digital signal through coding for processing. Based on this traditional method, the system construction cost and network usage fee are very expensive, and the system maintenance and management are very inconvenient!
Therefore, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Public Security, and on the premise of meeting relevant functional requirements, the system adopts a perfect combination of the world's most advanced network transmission technology and H.264 video compression technology. This technology is based on the network IPV4/IPV6 protocol and is a standard and universal network protocol. It completely overcomes the various defects of traditional analog monitoring systems and is superior in function and performance.
Users only need to install an ADSL broadband and access the "network video server" to make full use of the company's existing network system. There is no need to purchase other major equipment such as hard disk recorders, screen splitters, video signal amplifiers, etc. The transmission control can be carried out remotely, and the effect is smooth, the image is clear and stable, which greatly saves the user's investment and easily realizes multi-level centralized management.
The network video monitoring system includes front-end video acquisition equipment and network video codec, as well as back-end monitoring receiving client software. The former is installed at the main monitoring points of the enterprise to perform signal acquisition and transmission, and the latter software is mainly installed on the desktop of the monitoring center of management departments at all levels. The two are authorized by the platform management center system to perform multi-point to multi-point real-time monitoring and management of its front-end video points. Such as: video, PTZ, zoom, recording, voice, alarm linkage and other functions. Users with management authority can also set, download, and record on demand in real time at any point; the system can also be monitored through a PC browser.
As can be seen from the above, the network monitoring system uses surveillance cameras to conduct 24-hour real-time monitoring of various video points of the enterprise. For some key video points, the video motion detection function and alarm function can be activated. The system automatically identifies, triggers, and records according to the image movement (there is a pre-recording mechanism, and the pre-recording time can be more than 20 seconds in advance); at the same time, the system transmits real-time data such as images, sounds, and alarms to the computer desktops of the monitoring center of the personnel of the relevant management agencies. The management personnel can switch the video of any monitoring point at the front end at will through local monitoring, remote IE monitoring, WEB web client, etc., and can intuitively understand and grasp the real-time situation of each video monitoring point of the enterprise, so as to achieve timely and accurate supervision anytime and anywhere.
