    Remote monitoring is a common working mode in our daily work. A complete remote monitoring system includes two parts: the substation acquisition end and the monitoring center. Generally speaking, the acquisition end includes information acquisition end, splitter, camera, alarm, decoder and other parts. Large ones also include PTZ decoder. This part is mainly responsible for real-time image acquisition and recording, realizing alarm linkage after collecting alarm signals, and receiving commands from the monitoring center. The monitoring center is mainly composed of image processing server, monitoring terminal, remote video monitoring, etc., and is mainly responsible for central monitoring and information reception and processing.

  Below I will briefly introduce how to set up a small remote monitoring system.

  First, you need to set up the router. You need a router in the network, and configure the network settings of the personal computer and the router in the same network segment. The network settings may be different due to different manufacturers and brands, but you only need to configure the addresses to be the same. There are many tutorials for this step in the machine manual or on the Internet (just search the brand directly).

  The second step is to configure the router and set the IP address. You can use the built-in DHCP of the router to set it. Here are the specific steps.

  1. Set the computer's TCP/IP protocol to "obtain an IP address automatically". This step is very simple;

  2. Shut down the router and computer;

  3. Turn on the router first, then turn on the computer. In this way, the router's DHCP will automatically set the computer's IP;

  4. Set the IP of the DVR, then install the software on the computer and access it in the LAN.

  5. Fill in the address of the hard disk recorder in the LAN address, then enter the user name and password to connect.

  Basically, you can do real-time remote monitoring in this way. However, if you want to access the Internet, you need to apply for a domain name. Both Comai and Peanut Shell can apply for a domain name. We usually use the Peanut Shell IP address. First, register a Peanut Shell account, apply for a domain name, and enter this account on the router.

  First, enter the router's IP in the browser address bar to establish a connection. After logging in, set the LAN parameters and subnet mask, and the WAN login link. Then set the router to forward the intranet address, which is usually port 80. Then enter the Peanut Shell domain name on the computer software.

  The above are basically some basics of remote monitoring settings. In fact, remote monitoring is basically not difficult. Many video surveillance in public places such as supermarkets and streets can also be considered remote monitoring. Everyone sets it up once, and the subsequent maintenance is very simple.
