  In today's electronic product designs, precise current amplitude measurement is key to achieving maximum power efficiency. Current probes provide the industry's best measurement sensitivity and can measure currents as low as 1 milliamp. This is critical for measuring small current and frequency components. The oscilloscope and current probe work together to automatically extend the measurement range to several amps, greatly reducing measurement setup time.

  

  Notes on current probes:

  

  1. Please read the safety precautions and probe range in the instruction manual carefully;

  

  2. The clamp-type current probe must push the slider to the bottom until the probe displays: "CLOSED";

  

  3. The active current probe needs to be preheated for more than 20 minutes before each measurement to ensure the measurement results;

  

  4. The probe needs to be degaussed after each measurement to avoid the impact of residual magnetism on the measurement results;

  

  5. If higher measurement accuracy is required, please use Tektronix's current calibration fixture for calibration before each use;

  

  6. Pay attention to the direction of current flow.
