Product features and application advantages of AFG-2000/2100 arbitrary waveform signal generator

The AFG-2100/2000 series arbitrary waveform signal generator is based on DDS technology and covers arbitrary waveforms such as sine wave, square wave, triangle wave, noise wave and 20MSa/s sampling rate. The resolution of 0.1Hz and the adjustable duty cycle function of square wave (pulse wave) from 1% to 99% greatly expand its application range.

AFG-2100/2000 series includes 6 models, three frequency bands: 5MHz/12MHz/25MHz. In addition, the AFG-2100 series also provides AM/FM/FSK frequency modulation, scanning and frequency counter functions. The parameter setting adopts a fully digital operation design, and the 3.5" three-color LCD display can clearly display the set parameter content. The entire series is equipped with a USB Device interface. In addition to remote control, users can also import waveform data from a PC.

Built-in arbitrary wave function

The AFG-2100/2000 series provides arbitrary waveform editing functions with 20MSa/s sampling rate, 10-bit vertical resolution, and 4k-point record length. Users can edit arbitrary waves through panel settings or using dedicated waveform editing software.

Amplitude and DC bias display function

In addition to setting parameters, AFG-2100/2000 also displays voltage amplitude and DC bias readings on the LCD screen. Three amplitude units Vpp, Vrms and dBm are available for users to choose and replace.

Wide square wave adjustable duty cycle

The square wave duty cycle provided by the AFG-2100/2000 series can be set from 1% to 99%. Using this function, the pulse waveform can be simulated as a surge or transient signal.

AM/FM/FSK, Sweep, Counter functions (AFG-2100 series only)

AFG-2100 series has built-in AM/FM/FSK three modulation modes, waveform scanning and frequency counter functions. The 150MHz frequency counting function saves the cost of purchasing additional counters.

Exclusive arbitrary wave editing software

AFG-2100/2000 provides a set of free arbitrary wave editing software. After completing the required waveform editing on the PC, the data can be loaded into the AFG-2100/2000 for output via the USB interface.
