1. The two knobs of the oscilloscope
Auto: The automatic setting function adjusts various control values to produce a display of input signals suitable for observation. Run/Stop Moving/Stop: The oscilloscope is collecting trigger information/the oscilloscope has stopped collecting waveform data.
2. Digital oscilloscope signal display control
Horizontal control button operation: horizontal menu, change horizontal scale and waveform position. The horizontal center of the screen is the time reference point of the waveform. Adjust the position buttons to move the waveform to the left and right.
Vertical control button operations: display waveforms, adjust vertical scale and position, and set input parameters. Each channel needs to be adjusted independently. By adjusting the position button, you can move the waveform up or down.
3 Oscilloscope trigger modes
"Triggering" an oscilloscope synchronizes the scope's scans with the observed signal, thereby displaying a stable waveform. Oscilloscopes have three basic triggering modes: Auto, Normal/Normal, and Single.
In the automatic mode, no matter whether the trigger conditions are met or not, the oscilloscope will generate a scan, and you can see changing scan lines on the screen. This is a feature of this mode. In NORMal mode/normal mode (normal), the oscilloscope only scans when the trigger condition is met. If there is no trigger, it does not scan. - Once the "single mode" scan is generated and completed, the oscilloscope's scanning system enters a static state. Even if there is a signal that meets the trigger condition in the future, scanning will not be performed.
The above is the analysis of the function knob of the oscilloscope and the trigger mode of the oscilloscope. I hope it will be helpful to you.
