How to use clamp type ground resistance meter
The clamp-type ground resistance tester is very simple to use. No parameter settings are required. It is easy to learn and use. Calibrate before use. The clamp-type ground resistance tester comes with a 5.1 ohm standard resistance ring. Wait for 5 seconds after powering on and put the standard resistance ring into the annular magnetic field. , if the displayed value is equal to 5.1 ohms, it means that the instrument is normal. Precautions for clamp-type ground resistance meter
1. During power-on self-test, the instrument should be in a relaxed natural state. When holding the instrument with one hand, your fingers should not touch the clamp handle. This is important to ensure measurement accuracy.
2. When the resistance to be measured is large (for example, greater than 1000Ω), in order to ensure the measurement accuracy, it is best to press the clamp handle to open and close the jaws 2-3 times before pressing the POWER button (that is, before the meter is powered on), and then start the meter. . This is important to ensure measurement accuracy for resistances greater than 100Ω.
3. Keep the contact surface of the jaws clean at all times. The anti-pollution ability of this instrument is already very strong, but excessive pollution will still reduce the measurement accuracy of the instrument. Especially the measurement accuracy of resistance above 100Ω.
4. The anti-interference ability of this instrument is already very strong. It has sufficient anti-interference ability for the current on the tower grounding line, but the low-voltage transformer connected to the zero system still needs to be tested during a power outage because its unbalanced current is too large.
5. Please remove the battery from the battery compartment when the instrument is not used for a long time.
