a brief introdction:
With the rapid development of my country's power industry, preventive testing of electrical equipment is an important part of ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of power systems. Insulation diagnosis is an important means of detecting insulation defects or faults in electrical equipment. The 10kv insulation resistance tester is a special instrument for measuring insulation resistance. JJG662-89 "Insulation Resistance Meter (Megaohm Meter)" approved and implemented in May 1990 has made it one of the instruments for mandatory inspection. At present, electrical equipment (such as transformers, generators, etc.) is developing towards large capacity, high voltage, diversified structure and sealing.

2. This instrument does not require human work, is powered by batteries, and the range can be automatically switched. The clear panel operation and LCD display make measurement very convenient and fast.
3. The output short-circuit current of this meter can be measured directly without load measurement for estimation.
The function of 10kv insulation resistance tester:
By testing the insulation resistance of different components in the system (transformers, switchgear, wires, motors), technicians can isolate and repair failed components.
Technicians use the test to verify high insulation resistance between a conductor and ground or between adjacent conductors. Two common examples are testing the insulation between a motor winding and the motor base, and checking the resistance between a phase conductor and the ground wire/cage.
Insulation testing improves system performance by verifying that the system is sound before power is applied; it can reveal manufacturing process problems and equipment defects that are not usually discovered until the equipment fails. In the European Union, this testing is mandatory, even for the smallest residential systems.
1. Turn the band switch to any voltage level, and the power is turned on.
2. When selecting the test number, press the Set key to enter the test result query state.
3. Press the up and down keys to increase and decrease the test result number.
4. After selecting the number, press the test button to enter the test results of the number, and press the up and down buttons to query the test results of the number (current resistance, 15-second resistance, 60-second resistance, 10-minute resistance, absorption ratio, polarization index).
5. After the query is completed, press the Set key to return to the ready-to-test state.
6. If you need to query again, press the set key again.
