Application of fabric induction static tester:

1 This instrument is suitable for measuring the electrostatic properties of fabrics or various non-metallic plate-shaped or sheet-shaped products under the specified laboratory environmental conditions. It uses a given high-voltage electric field to discharge the fabric regularly, causing the fabric to induce static electricity, thereby detecting the size of the electrostatic voltage, the half-life of the static voltage decay, and the amount of static electricity residue, and displays the electrostatic properties of the fabric being tested, guiding the selection and application of professional textiles.

As the instrument adopts single-chip test control technology combined with high-tech indicator program, the test is accurate and reliable, the test operation is fully automatic, the operation is convenient and safe, and it is equipped with a printer; the large-screen LCD directly displays the voltage of the DC high-voltage generator, the instantaneous electrostatic voltage peak and half-life during the high-voltage discharge of the fabric.

5 Whether the fabric is charged depends on the static voltage maintained by the sample after the instrument discharges the high voltage, and is also related to the time the static voltage is maintained. The speed at which static electricity on the sample disappears is expressed by the static half-life, which is an important assessment indicator for testing the static performance of fabrics. The test mechanism is: after the sample is charged to a stable state in the high-voltage static field, the high-voltage power supply is disconnected, and the voltage is naturally decayed through the grounded metal table, and the time required for the voltage to decay to half of the initial value is measured.


6 Fabric static electricity refers to the degree of static electricity generation and accumulation in fabrics.
