CS1238DME is mainly used in industrial applications such as industrial transmitters, pressure measurement, and weighing equipment that require low power consumption, high-precision measurement, and multi-protocol industrial communications and interfaces. It provides cost-effective and highly reliable solutions for market segments such as industrial control processes, liquid/gas chemical analysis, blood meters, electronic scales, smart converters, and portable devices.


In terms of functional characteristics, the CS1238DME achieves 24-bit differential input without missing codes, has a low-noise PGA, and supports four-speed selection of amplification factors: 1/2/64/128, which can process a wider range of signals. The data output rate can be selected: 10Hz, 40Hz, 640Hz, 1.28kHz. The minimum power consumption is 0.6mW, and the INL is less than 0.0015%.


CS1238 has a power down function, which can enter the power down mode when SCLK changes from low level to high level and maintains for more than 100µs. In this mode, the current consumption is less than 0.1μA. When SCLK returns to low level again, the chip will enter normal working state again. The highly integrated function of the chip allows engineers to design more flexibly according to system needs, especially in applications with weak signals and limited space range, which can achieve low power consumption of the system.
