Several questions that need to be paid attention to when adjusting the multimeter

DC current part: The moving coil should be installed properly, and there should be no ferromagnetic material in the moving space. If the shunt resistor is burned out, it should be replaced according to the value on the circuit diagram. If the meter is highly sensitive, demagnetize it, replace the hairspring, or rewind the brake ring. Clean the moving contacts of the transport switch, and resolder the desoldering or cold soldering.

DC voltage part: The DC voltage circuit can only be adjusted after the current circuit is adjusted. During the adjustment, it is carried out step by step from small limit to large limit. The common resistance related to the DC current cannot be adjusted anymore.

AC voltage part: The adjustment of AC voltage part is mainly on the rectifier element, such as the rectifier element breakdown, damage, reverse resistance reduction of one level. When replacing, choose a tube close to the original characteristics. Similarly, anything related to DC current and DC voltage cannot be readjusted.

Resistor parts: Replace batteries if they are short. Clean contact points if they are rusted, gently polish with fine sandpaper, and apply a thin layer of vaseline. The electromagnetic clamp should have sufficient elasticity. When adjusting, start from R*1 gear to the maximum gear. Any resistance related to the current and voltage circuits is not allowed to be adjusted.
