Keysight Technologies Launches New Network Benchmarking Solution to Help Mobile Operators Validate Quality of Experience on Multiple 4G and 5G Networks
The solution is scalable and only one drive test is required to complete the full set of measurements
Keysight Technologies, Inc., a leader in advanced design and verification solutions designed to accelerate innovation and create a secure and connected world, announced the launch of its new Nemo Network Benchmarking Solution (NBM), which helps mobile operators validate the end-user quality of experience (QoE) on multiple 5G New Radio (NR) networks and 4G LTE networks.
According to the Global Mobile Suppliers Association, the number of mobile operators with commercial 5G deployments has more than doubled in the past year. As large-scale deployments continue, mobile operators and regulators are expanding their benchmarking to understand how their networks perform against those of competitors. Keysight Technologies has introduced a fully scalable solution that enables mobile operators, regulators and service contractors to cost-effectively benchmark wireless networks.
Keysight's Nemo network benchmarking solution supports up to 48 mobile devices and provides fast, comprehensive, and reliable measurements in a single drive test.
"We are pleased to offer our customers such a powerful solution specifically designed to benchmark networks using the latest commercially available mobile devices," said Petri Toljamo, vice president of Keysight Technologies. "Keysight's new network benchmarking solution enables mobile operators to quickly identify and resolve quality and performance issues, thereby creating a satisfying experience for end users and improving customer retention."
Keysight's Nemo network benchmarking solution supports the latest cellular technologies and flagship devices, and can complete comprehensive, reliable and fast measurements, providing users with the following advantages:
• Confidently capture a full set of measurements with just one drive test, even during large-scale campaigns.
• Modular architecture supports up to 48 mobile devices, allowing customers to cost-effectively scale capital expenditures to meet growing measurement needs.
• Benchmark the performance, accessibility, and integrity of multiple networks that deliver data, voice, streaming services, and support OTT applications such as Instagram, Netflix, and YouTube.
• Collect and analyze measurement data to create reports with relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and network performance scores (NPS) to effectively identify QoE and QoS issues.
Keysight's Nemo Network Benchmarking Solution combines a rugged enclosure, modular mounting accessories and Keysight software to create a fully scalable solution for cost-effective benchmarking of 4G and 5G networks.
Keysight's Nemo Network Benchmark Solution combines a rugged housing and modular mounting accessories with Keysight's Nemo Outdoor, Nemo Active Test Application (NATA), Nemo Diagnostic Module (NDM) and Nemo Intelligent Device Interface (NIDI). With Nemo Cloud, users can remotely control the measurements obtained with Nemo Network Benchmark Solution in real time. Combining Nemo Network Benchmark Solution with Nemo Cloud and drive test post-processing software Nemo Analyze, users can create an end-to-end automated data processing environment to complete a series of tasks from uploading to analyzing measurement results.
As an important member of Keysight's extensive solution portfolio, Nemo Network Benchmarking Solution comprehensively tests the performance and quality of mobile networks throughout their entire lifecycle, from site acceptance, deployment, optimization and validation to indoor/outdoor network benchmarking.
