Gas detector is a commonly used detection instrument that can continuously detect the content of the gas within the lower explosion limit in the air for a long time. It can be widely used in various industries where flammable or toxic gases exist, such as gas, petrochemical, metallurgy, steel, coking, and electricity.

Alarm repeatability of gas detectors

Under normal environmental conditions, the alarm action value of the same detector is measured 6 times. The difference between the alarm action value of the detector and the alarm setting value should not exceed ±3%LEL.

High-speed airflow

Under the condition of an air flow velocity of 6m/s, the difference between the detector's alarm action value and the alarm setting value should not exceed ±5%LEL.

Voltage fluctuations

The power supply voltage of the detector is ±15% of the rated power supply voltage, and the difference between its alarm action value and the alarm setting value should not exceed ±3%LEL.

Long term stability performance

The detector should be able to operate continuously for 28 days under normal environmental conditions. During the test, the detector should not send out an alarm signal or a fault signal. After the test, the difference between the alarm action value and the alarm setting value of the detector should not exceed ±5%LEL.

Insulation withstand voltage performance

The insulation resistance between the external live terminals and power plug of the detector and the outer shell should be no less than 100M under normal environmental conditions.

Ω, and should not be less than 1MΩ in a hot and humid environment. The above-mentioned parts should also be subjected to a withstand voltage test for 1 minute at a rated voltage withstand frequency of 50Hz, an effective voltage of 1500V (when the rated voltage exceeds 50V) or an effective voltage of 500V (when the rated voltage does not exceed 50V). During the test, the detector should not discharge or break down, and the detector function should be normal after the test.
