Thermocouple thermometer is a temperature measuring device widely used in industrial production. Thermocouple sensing element is composed of two metal wires of different materials. It has simple structure, convenient use, high accuracy, wide measuring range, vibration resistance, and is suitable for medium and high temperature range.
Thermocouple thermometers use bimetallic thermometers, thermocouples or thermal resistors to transmit temperature, which not only meets the needs of on-site temperature measurement, but also meets the needs of long-distance transmission. They can directly measure the temperature of liquids, vapors and gaseous media in the range of -80-+500℃ in various production processes, as well as solid surface temperature.
Thermoelectric series was formerly known as "thermoelectric series". It is a sequence of metals (or semiconductors, the same below) arranged according to their properties in thermoelectric phenomena. When two metals are randomly selected from the sequence to form a thermocouple, at the junction with higher temperature, the current flows from the metal in the front of the sequence to the metal in the back of the sequence. Common thermoelectric series are as follows: Bi-Ni-Co-K-Rb-Ca-Pd-Na-Hg-Pr-Ta-Al-Mn-Pb-Sn-Cs-W-Tl-In-Ir-Ag-Re--Cu-Au-Cd-Zn-Mo-Ce-Li-Fe-Sb-Ge-Te-Se.
