In-depth exploration of LabVIEW: the pros and cons of global variables
A recent post on the GSD forums touched on the issue of global variables: sandan0615: Can I write to global variables without data conflicts? RTRT, experts, please explain. I saw in Chen Shuxue's book that we should avoid writing to global variables in the program. czhen: Of course you can . If not, what's the

Use LabView virtual instruments to create swept sine functions to implement a variety of applications
Swept sine waves are useful when you need to test a product over a wide frequency range. For example, if a large-scale research project requires determining how waves propagate in the open ocean, the application will generate a swept sine wave to drive an acoustic transducer. Although many waveform generators have bui

Developing a Leg-Wheel Mobile Robot Using LabVIEW and CompactRIO
Background of the project Legs and wheels are two methods widely used in ground locomotion platforms. After a long evolutionary process, the legs of most land animals are flexible and powerful, and can run smoothly and quickly on uneven natural terrain. On the other hand, humans have invented wheels specifically f
