Creating a Front Panel in LabVIEW

　　In the front panel window, add input controls and display controls. Select the required input and display controls from the control palette (click the selected control, the cursor changes to a hand shape), hold down the mouse, drag to the appropriate position, and then release the mouse to place the required control in the front panel window workspace, as shown in Figure 1. You can also click to select the required control, move the cursor to the appropriate position in the workspace, and then click again to place the required control in the workspace.

　　Right-click a control that has been added to the front panel window workspace and select an item from the pop-up shortcut menu to configure the control's parameters, as shown in Figure 2.

　　In addition to the necessary input and display controls, you can also add auxiliary annotation text and select appropriate patterns to decorate the front panel window to serve as the panel of the virtual instrument program.
