Week 14 is still a discussion topic. The test of common components can be measured with professional instruments, but not all engineers have these special instruments at hand. You may not have noticed that an oscilloscope with a built-in waveform generator can actually do it, because it allows the oscilloscope to trigger and measure the waveform at the same time as the waveform generator outputs the waveform. Can you guess the working principle of an oscilloscope with a built-in waveform generator when measuring capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, LEDs, and twisted-pair cables?
