1. Installation of pneumatic measuring instrument

1. The pneumatic measuring instrument should be installed on a vibration-free horizontal platform. If the platform area is small, it can be fixed with two bolts to prevent it from falling.

2. Do not install the measuring instrument in places exposed to direct sunlight or places with large temperature changes.

3. The installation position of the air filter should be lower than the measuring instrument to prevent oil and water from flowing back into the measuring instrument when the measuring instrument is not in use.

4. Use a rubber tube to connect the measuring instrument, the filter and the air source, and then it can be used.

2. Debugging of buoy-type pneumatic measuring instrument

Pneumatic measurement is a relative measurement. Taking the diameter 16+/-0.01 in-gas calibration as an example, the specific operation steps are as follows:

1. Calculate the tolerance range of the standard part to be 0.02mm;

2. Use the pointer to mark the range of 0.02mm on the ruler (this range is at any position of the ruler, generally the middle is better);

3. Put the lower limit ring gauge on the probe, rotate the zero adjustment screw to align the float with 10

4. Remove the lower limit ring gauge, put on the upper limit ring gauge, and observe the position of the float. There are two situations as follows:

a. The float is below the upper 10, and the magnification is small. It is necessary to rotate the magnification screw clockwise to increase the magnification so that the float rises above the upper 10, and then rotate the zero adjustment screw to align the float with the upper 10 position.

b. The float is above the upper 10, and the magnification is large. It is necessary to rotate the magnification screw counterclockwise to reduce the magnification so that the float drops above the lower 10, and then rotate the zero adjustment screw to align the float with the upper 10 position.

5. Remove the upper limit ring gauge, then put on the upper and lower limit ring gauges, observe the position of the float, and repeat step 4.

III. Precautions for pneumatic measuring instruments;

1. Air source purification is the most important condition for maintaining the normal use of pneumatic measuring instruments. Most of the failures of measuring instruments are caused by oil and water entering the measuring instrument. A larger net filter device should be added before the air filter brought by the measuring instrument, and the water should be drained and replaced frequently to clean the filter element.

2. The air source pressure cannot be lower than 0.29Mpa. It is best not to share the same air source with pneumatic power machinery when starting the measuring instrument. (The best air source pressure is 0.4Mpa to 0.6Mpa)

3. After the plastic pipe ages and hardens, it is easy to leak at the head. It should be replaced in time.

4. When closing the air valve and opening it for use, the zero position and magnification should be recalibrated with standard parts.

5. When using, the scale should be as close to the glass tube as possible to reduce the reading error.

6. If you are not repairing the measuring instrument, do not remove the glass tube and the float at will. If you must remove the glass tube, close the air inlet valve, otherwise the float will be blown away. When taking the float, use tweezers to clamp it and prevent it from being deformed. When installing the glass tube, position it correctly and press it tightly. There should be no air leakage on both sides of the glass tube. (end)
