Silicon Labs (also known as "Silicon Labs Technology", NASDAQ: SLAB) announced that the company will hold a number of online events in the Asia-Pacific region in the near future to share with developers the leading Internet of Things (IoT) wireless connectivity solutions, methods for developing secure IoT devices, and the latest application cases. These online events will be held in May-June in a variety of forms, including the Asia-Pacific Technical Dialogue Online Live (APAC Tech Talks), the "How To" series of Chinese video explanations and the Bluetooth Operation Online Seminar (BG22 Virtual Workshop).
Asia Pacific Technical Dialogue Live Broadcast
Silicon Labs will host a series of Asia-Pacific technical dialogues in the form of online live broadcasts every Tuesday and Thursday starting from May 26. The first phase of the event will last from May 26 to June 11, and will be hosted by Silicon Labs' field application engineering experts. They will share the latest Bluetooth technology, security applications and industry perspectives around the theme of "wireless connection technology", and will arrange Q&A time to answer questions for developers. The first technical dialogue online live broadcast event will be held on May 26 from 10 to 11 am. You are welcome to visit the event registration page to register.
The event content is very rich, covering many aspects of wireless connection technology, including Bluetooth Angle of Arrival and Angle of Departure (AoX) solutions, the standard evolution of Bluetooth 5, 5.1, and 5.2, Bluetooth Mesh solutions and development tools, developing secure Bluetooth 5.2 IoT products through BG22, 15.4 mesh network technology discussion, Connected Home over IP introductory knowledge, IoT devices and network security, etc., and will cover customers and developers throughout the Asia-Pacific region in four languages: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English.
"How To" series of Chinese video explanations
In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to facilitate customers' developers to use Silicon Labs' products and speed up their design process, Silicon Labs specially arranged for field application engineers in China to record a series of "How To" videos in Chinese, aiming to guide developers to quickly start designing using Silicon Labs' solutions in an easy-to-understand way. Silicon Labs has a strong engineering team in China, which can provide customers with timely and accurate support services with its deep knowledge accumulation and extensive application experience.
The "How To" series of Chinese videos covers Silicon Labs' main products. In addition to the EFR32xG22 series of wireless system-on-chips (SoCs), it also introduces the application, programming, modulation and other skills of the EFM32 and EFM8 series of microcontrollers (MCUs), power isolation products and high-performance clock products. Through the video explanations, you can have a deeper understanding of wireless connectivity, MCUs, isolation and timing technologies, and can easily master the development skills of related applications. You are welcome to visit the video column to watch the video content.
Bluetooth Hands-On Webinar
In addition to the above two events, Silicon Labs will also hold a "Bluetooth Hands-On Online Seminar" in the Asia-Pacific region to introduce how to use its BG22 Thunderboard development kit to develop more powerful, secure and efficient IoT devices. Each Bluetooth Hands-On Online Seminar is held over 3 days, 90 minutes per day, covering various design and application techniques for BG22 Bluetooth SoCs, including using BG22 to extend device battery life, providing strong protection for terminal nodes through BG22's built-in security, how BG22 supports Bluetooth 5.2, Bluetooth mesh 1.0 and direction finding functions, modifying Bluetooth software to optimize energy efficiency, and implementing secure field product updates (OTA).
