With the accelerated deployment of domestic NB-IoT networks, the innovation of IoT applications based on NB-IoT connections is bound to explode. In order to deeply implement national policies, actively promote the prosperity of the NB-IoT industry chain, accelerate NB-IoT application innovation and scenario expansion, reduce production costs in the industry, and improve development efficiency, this award ceremony set up three award categories: influential people, innovative products, and excellent solutions. With its leading NB-IOT products in the industry and strong industry influence, Airlaby won the Excellent Solution Award.

After one and a half years of rapid development, the IoT OTA solution provided by Airlabi has helped millions of NB-IOT products to be successfully upgraded, covering a wide range of fields such as shared bicycles, smart meters, smoke detection industry, smart street lights, smart door locks, etc., and has reached in-depth cooperation with China Mobile IoT and many brand manufacturers.

In the past two years, relying on the construction of low-power wide area networks (LPWAN), the Internet of Things applications based on wireless technology have made great progress. In particular, the promotion of NB-IoT Internet of Things connection technology, due to its low power consumption, wide coverage, large connection and low cost, has solved the problems of technology fragmentation and insufficient coverage in the Internet of Things, greatly accelerated the pace of the implementation of Internet of Things applications, and quickly gained wide recognition in the industry, becoming the mainstream technology of the Internet of Things.

In 2018, the development of NB-IoT has been rapid. Driven by both policies and industries, the NB-IoT market is developing rapidly. In terms of policies, the country has given the greatest support and has confirmed that NB-IoT will be the main technology in the future market. From the perspective of the entire industry, whether it is the three major communication operators, or communication equipment manufacturers such as Huawei and ZTE, or chip manufacturers, module manufacturers, terminal manufacturers, etc. in the industry, they all regard NB-IoT as a key strategy to establish competitive advantages. The development of NB-IoT will usher in a beautiful spring.

At present, China has built the world's largest NB-IoT network. The NB-IoT industry chain has nearly 14 NB-IoT chips, hundreds of module scenarios, and thousands of terminal manufacturers. More than 40 industry applications such as smart meter reading, smart parking, smart medical care, smart logistics, public security and fire protection, urban management, and industrial Internet of Things have started large-scale commercial deployment. In addition, electric vehicle monitoring devices have become another NB-IoT industry application with more than one million connections after wireless smoke sensors, smart gas, and smart water services. By the end of 2018, the number of NB-IoT connections in China had reached more than 30 million, and is expected to reach more than 100 million in 2019.

Based on this, in the future, Airlaby will continue to strengthen its in-depth cooperation with many brand owners, expand large-scale applications in more scenarios, improve efficiency and reduce speed, empower the industry, and jointly promote the healthy and orderly development of the NB-IoT industry chain.
