[Online | EMC Series Lectures] 5G Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification Test Technology
5G Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification Test Technology
Tuesday, April 28, 2020 10:00 - 11:00
You are sincerely invited to attend
Background
As the fifth generation of mobile communication technology, 5G networks open up endless possibilities for our daily lives. 5G's powerful mobile technology promotes smart city concepts including Industry 4.0, smart homes, autonomous driving and 5G broadcasting. Driven by the seamless connection between everything and the demand for big data, the evolution of 5G technology is inevitable. Many countries such as the United States, Germany, China, South Korea and Singapore are already conducting proof-of-concept trials.
5G communication technology has introduced many innovative technologies, which have raised the communication frequency band and signal bandwidth to a new level. At the same time, it has brought innovation and challenges to product design and development. The verification of the wireless radiation performance of products has also received unprecedented attention and importance.
Conference Summary
This seminar covers two important aspects of radiation measurements in 5G test technology. The first part will introduce
the regulatory requirements and technical challenges of radiated spurious emissions (RSE) in 5G communications, especially in high-frequency bands, as well as its standardization expectations.
OTA is the embodiment of the wireless performance of the product. It has attracted much attention because it has been given new meaning in 5G communication, especially in FR2 millimeter wave communication. In the second part of this seminar, we will start with the basic concept of OTA and introduce the importance and test content of OTA testing. At the same time, based on antenna theory, we will introduce concepts such as near and far fields and quiet zones in antenna measurement. Subsequently, combined with the relevant standards for antenna and OTA testing, the seminar will also describe the basic architecture of the measurement system, scanning methods and specific test items. Finally, we will introduce the main OTA test methods for you in a multi-dimensional and comprehensive manner in important areas such as OTA research and development, certification, and consistency for 5G FR1 and FR2.
Through this lecture, you can
look forward to the 5G vision with us, and learn about the most cutting-edge radiated spurious emissions, OTA measurement technology and its main test methods.
