Why does parking have to be so "unique"? Baidu Apollo 's autonomous driving computing platform ACU , developed with Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC, can easily get rid of these weird postures and make parking easier .
Baidu ACU is Apollo's mass-produced autonomous driving vehicle computing unit. It is divided into multiple product series according to the computing power requirements of different demand scenarios. As a dedicated computing platform for Baidu Apollo's autonomous driving, ACU has comprehensive AI capabilities, covering high-precision mapping and positioning, environmental perception, planning and control, and other functions. This mass-produced ACU hardware platform will be first used in the Apollo Valet Parking ( AVP ) autonomous parking product. Through the AVP autonomous parking solution, users can easily use mobile terminal devices to perform operations such as remote vehicle pick-up and return, automatic parking space search, and autonomous parking.
The autonomous driving computing platform ACU is equipped with Xilinx's automotive-grade chip platform Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC , which provides the product with powerful deep learning inference capabilities and computing power. With the powerful sensor fusion and AI processing capabilities of Xilinx's automotive-grade heterogeneous multi-core Zynq UltraScale+ 5EV platform, the AVP autonomous parking platform can support up to 5 cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars. At the same time, millimeter-wave radar and lidar interfaces are reserved, and Baidu's PaddlePaddle deep learning framework is adapted to support rapid iteration and upgrade of algorithms.
