LED has become the first choice of the new generation of automotive light sources due to its advantages of small size, high efficiency, long life, low energy consumption, and fast response, and its application in the field of automotive lighting is becoming more and more extensive. Since LED is a current sensitive device, the driver power supply is required to provide efficient and high-precision constant current drive, overheat protection, PWM dimming and other controls.
Based on Microchip CIP hybrid power MCU PIC16F17XX as the main platform, WPG Group has developed a number of reference solutions for LED car lights using the built-in LED dimming engine to help designers quickly complete the design of car lights.
