The power battery of electric vehicles is a natural energy storage system. When the power grid has sufficient power, electric vehicles draw power from the grid and store excess power; when power consumption peaks and the grid load is high, electric vehicles can also supply power to the grid in reverse (referred to as "feedback"). This concept is V2G, vehicle to grid.


The key technology point of V2G is the two-way high-power on-board charger, which is high-power AC/DC technology. Using the TIDA-01606 board, we can more intuitively understand how power is exchanged between the power grid and electric vehicles, and perfectly achieve 10kW high-efficiency bidirectional AC/DC conversion! TIDA-01606 adopts a plug-in card structure, and the base adopts the main power board, which has 3 drive sub-cards, 1 high-voltage sub-card and 1 F28379D control sub-card. Control the sub-card to output PWM signals, and drive the sub-card to control the current and voltage measurement on the main power board and high-voltage sub-card to achieve three-phase AC loop control and complete AC/DC bidirectional conversion.
