In August 2023, the three-week online internship project of STMicroelectronics Shenzhen Packaging and Testing Factory came to a successful conclusion.
A total of 69 students
from Harbin Institute of Technology (
Shenzhen
), Central South University, and Shenzhen University participated in this internship.
This internship broke down the communication barriers between universities for the first time and established a unified, efficient and transparent internship communication platform. Students from the three universities had a preliminary understanding of the corporate culture of equality, tolerance and openness of STMicroelectronics/STMicroelectronics. By combining theory and practice, the project expanded students' horizons, deepened their understanding of the semiconductor industry, and laid a solid foundation for future studies and career choices. The project has been widely praised by teachers and students.
The internship process is professional and scientific, and the assessment standards are rigorous and comprehensive.
The Sai-Italy-France summer internship program was officially launched on July 17, 2023. The project has equipped students with a strong teaching staff, with 4 teachers from three universities and 31 experts from Saifa serving as instructors. The 69 students participating in this internship include 24 students majoring in materials at Harbin Institute of Technology, 20 students majoring in semiconductor materials and devices at Shenzhen University, and 25 students majoring in microelectronics science and engineering at Central South University.
Students assign homework and answer questions through STA online learning and offline WeChat groups. Teachers use Teams to comment on homework and expand knowledge, submit internship reports, evaluate comprehensive performance of internships, and finally issue internship qualification certification. The internship assessment is divided into four parts, namely attendance rate, quality of homework completion, classroom enthusiasm, and quality of internship report.
This internship project mainly consists of 6 parts, 2.5 hours of online courses on the STA platform every day + WeChat group Q&A and after-school homework + Teams online homework comments + internship thesis + excellent internship thesis defense + internship performance assessment, which constitutes a rigorous, professional, and Scientific internship process. Saiyifa internship system relies on strong teaching staff, scientific curriculum system, digital training platform, and rich experience in school-enterprise cooperation. After years of practice, it has been highly recognized by teachers and students in universities.
