These products are designed to provide high port density, with up to 36 8-channel interface ports in a 1RU switch form factor , in line with current and next-generation silicon product roadmaps. Not only can they be used for 28G NRZ and 56G PAM-4 protocols, but there are also plans to target 112G PAM-4 protocols to facilitate future system upgrades.
