Zengyi Technology and NI jointly showcase OAI
Complete protocol stack simulation test platform

Phase 1 of the project: connecting the gNB and the OAI UE without the support of the core network (EPC) was completed in the first quarter of last year.

Phase 2: Connecting base stations (eNB/gNB) and commercial terminals (COTS UE) with the support of the core network (EPC), which was achieved in the third quarter of last year.

Phase 3: Connecting gNBs and COTS UEs with the support of the core network (AMF/UPF) will be implemented in the first half of this year.

Intelligent metasurface (RIS) millimeter wave communication system
Tsinghua University developed the intelligent metasurface millimeter wave communication system based on the hardware and software platform provided by Zengyi Technology . It aims to address the problems of limited coverage and high power consumption of future base stations and innovates in the communication system architecture and baseband signal processing.

Innovation 1: Using smart metasurfaces to replace traditional phased array antennas;

Innovation 2: Using end-to-end neural networks to replace traditional physical layer designs.
Intelligent metasurfaces achieve beamforming with low power consumption and low cost, improving the coverage of communication systems. Neural networks replace encoding and decoding, modulation and demodulation, and achieve optimization through end-to-end training.
The system has a transmission rate of up to 1.6Gbps in the 28GHz millimeter wave band and supports the expansion of terahertz and visible light bands, providing an effective technical route reference for future 6G mobile communications.

Wireless channels in complex electromagnetic environments
Measurement, simulation and simulation solutions
The channel measurement, simulation and emulation solutions developed by Beijing Jiaotong University based on the hardware and software platform provided by Zengyi Technology can provide multi-channel, high-bandwidth hardware-level real-time channels, and can provide a semi-physical simulation verification platform for system performance evaluation, terminal detection, and signal processing algorithm research of wireless communication networks such as 5G, LTE-V, and LTE-M.
