The solution is based on a comprehensive test platform of the UXM E7515A narrowband IoT base station simulator, which can effectively help the Fuzhou IoT Laboratory and downstream customers verify the actual power consumption of NB-IoT products in various working scenarios.
Fuzhou Internet of Things Open Laboratory Base is the first and currently the largest Internet of Things open laboratory in China. Relying on the strategy of creating a high-tech and innovative country since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Fuzhou Internet of Things Open Laboratory was first established in Mawei, Fuzhou, and positioned as an Internet of Things technology service platform. With the public platform built by Fuzhou Internet of Things Open Laboratory, Internet of Things companies can well carry out product research and development, verification and testing based on the platform, effectively solve the technical problems encountered by Internet of Things companies, and promote vertical industry applications.
Keysight Technologies and Fuzhou IoT Open Lab have in-depth cooperation in the power consumption performance testing of narrowband IoT. Narrowband IoT technology, with ultra-low power consumption as one of its important technical features, has great advantages in applications such as smart meter reading. Since the power consumption of IoT products is closely related to their working environment and their business needs, ordinary test solutions cannot accurately evaluate the actual power consumption of IoT devices. To address this problem, Keysight's narrowband IoT power consumption test system can simulate the working scenarios of devices, control the working mode of devices, and accurately measure power consumption with large dynamic changes, ensuring that the measurement results are consistent with the actual application results.
Dr. Gao Teng, President of Fuzhou IoT Open Laboratory, said: "The narrowband IoT low-power test solution can simulate the actual channel environment and control the product to work according to business requirements, so that the power consumption results obtained from the test are consistent with the actual situation, and effectively solve the problems of industry customers. We are very happy to have such cooperation with Keysight Technologies to help customers in the industry chain better deepen vertical applications, solve practical problems in applications, and promote industry development."
Zheng Jifeng, Marketing Director of Keysight Technologies Greater China, said: "The development of the Internet of Things industry is characterized by fragmentation, and the working and deployment modes of devices in different industry applications are different. Keysight Technologies understands such needs and has launched low-power test solutions that meet industry needs. In addition to low-power test solutions, Keysight Technologies has comprehensive solutions for narrowband IoT, from RF to RRM to protocol verification, to help industry customers conduct comprehensive testing."
