Infineon will participate in the 2024 American International Power Electronics Applications Exhibition to promote low-carbonization and digitalization with a rich portfolio of power solutions
Infineon Technologies will participate in the 2024 American International Power Electronics Applications Exhibition (APEC) from February 25th to 29th, and highlight its most comprehensive power electronic devices in the industry. Infineon's wide bandgap solutions feature high energy efficiency and high power density, which are key drivers in combating climate change and accelerating decarbonization. Infineon's best-in-class product portfolio includes a variety of power semiconductor devices for leading applications, covering the three semiconductor materials of silicon, silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN).
Infineon will present a wide range of products and their wide range of applications at booths 1013 and 1319 (Infineon + GaN Systems) . Booth No. 1013 is divided into six major areas according to different application fields , including:
• USB-C/Charging: Infineon showcased its latest AC/DC and DC/DC USB-C PD chargers, as well as system-level power solutions for next-generation applications such as notebook computers.
• Motor Control: The company showcased its latest BLDC motor drive solutions for future power tool and robotic applications, and showcased Rad hard reaction wheel motor drives for satellite and space applications.
• Data center: Infineon's products on display include a complete set of artificial intelligence (AI) server solutions, digital power hot-swappable solutions, and liquid-cooled high-density power supplies optimized for next-generation applications. In addition, Infineon’s latest high-density dual-phase power modules were on site, which can reduce the total cost of ownership of generative AI data centers.
• Electric vehicles (EV): Infineon showcases its latest 50 kW and 22 kW electric vehicle chargers, SiC and GaN-based on-board charging solutions, and new Hybrid PAK-based automotive inverters, mainly for the new generation electric car.
• Renewable energy and energy storage: This demonstration area focuses on key energy applications, including the company’s latest solar DC/DC converters, DC-AC inverters, bidirectional PFC/inverters that help maximize conversion efficiency. inverters and DC-DC converters.
• Industrial Controls: The company highlights its growing portfolio of solid-state relays and circuit breakers that can be used to replace electromechanical switches.
Another Infineon booth (No. 1319) showcases the company’s growing portfolio of GaN solutions, such as Class D audio amplifiers, data center power supplies and reference designs for consumer semiconductor devices.
