According to WCCFTECH, there is a lot of interesting information hidden in Intel's financial report PPT.
Intel has officially announced that the output of their 10nm process has exceeded expectations, and plans to launch at least 9 10nm process products in 2020.
As we all know, Intel's 14nm process has been around for a long time, and the transition to the 10nm process is highly anticipated.
Intel further revealed that not only is the production volume higher than expected, but they will also launch 9 10nm products in 2020, which will alleviate the impact of the 14nm shortage to a certain extent.
Summarizing the information in Intel's financial report PPT, we can roughly summarize the following four points:
1. 10nm production is higher than expected
2.
9
10nm process products are expected to be released in 2020
3. Intel will increase wafer production capacity by 25% in 2020
4. 7nm Ponte Vecchio GPU will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2021
Currently, Intel has announced that it will launch the Tiger Lake processor with 10nm+ process later this year, equipped with Xe independent graphics card, double GPU performance, and support USB4.
According to the current leaked data, Intel's 11th generation Core low voltage will not significantly increase the number of cores, the mainstream is still 4 cores and 8 threads, but the main frequency has increased compared to Ice Lake.
