Beijing News (Reporter Lin Qiling) Yesterday, the Discipline Inspection Group of the Party Committee of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation announced that Zhang Zhengfan , Chairman (Director) of China Electronics Technology Group Zhongkexin Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. ( 58th Institute), is suspected of violating disciplines and is under organizational investigation.

China Electronics Technology Group Corporation is an important state-owned backbone enterprise established with the approval of the State Council on the basis of electronic research institutes and high-tech enterprises directly under the former Ministry of Information Industry. It is one of the top ten military industrial groups directly managed by the central government.

Zhang Zhengfan is currently the director of the 58th Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, a senior engineer at the researcher level, and concurrently the director of the National Defense Science and Technology Key Laboratory of Military Analog Integrated Circuits, a professor at Chongqing University and Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and the deputy director of the National Electromagnetic Pulse and Radiation Electronics Professional Committee. He has been successively rated as an outstanding young scientist of the Ministry of Electronics, a first-level talent of Chongqing's "322 Key Talent Project", and enjoys the special expert allowance of the State Council.
