(2) Master of Science and PhD in Bioscience Engineering from KU Leuven.
field of study:
(1) Development of novel biomolecular detection concepts and miniaturized analytical systems, microbial and nanobial systems, and bioelectronics;
(2) Head of the Biosensors Group at the MeBioS Division, whose basic research activities focus on the development of novel biomolecular detection concepts and miniaturized analytical systems for a wide range of applications, including food and medical diagnostics.

(1) Member of MEMS, MicroTAS and Transducers Technical Committee;
(2) He is the author or co-author of more than 200 peer-reviewed research papers and more than 100 conference papers, and is a reviewer for many international peer-reviewed journals.
