(1) Development of novel biomolecular detection concepts and miniaturized analytical systems, microbial and nanobial systems, and bioelectronics;

(2) Head of the Biosensors Group at the MeBioS Division, whose basic research activities focus on the development of novel biomolecular detection concepts and miniaturized analytical systems for a wide range of applications, including food and medical diagnostics.
