More than six months ago, AMD launched Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition for gamers, a completely redesigned and reimagined driver application that is more feature-rich and easier to use than ever before. Now that you've spent a lot of time using it, we wanted to take this opportunity to discuss some of the features you may or may not have used during this time.

Radeon Software's new homepage gives you direct access to games installed on your PC. From one location, you can quickly view information such as time played, average FPS, change graphics settings for each game, or simply launch a game. You can also launch Radeon Software at any time with the shortcut [ ALT+R ].

Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition has a built-in web browser to help you search for strategies, tips, or other tools while you're playing or encountering difficulties. Simply open Radeon Software ( shortcut ALT+R ) and click the " Globe " icon next to the search bar . You no longer need to ALT+TAB to return to the desktop to surf the Internet.

As live streaming on social platforms like Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube becomes more and more popular, we wanted to provide an easier way for users of Radeon hardware and software to stream live. Our streaming feature has been made easier to use, even for novice users, but it also has more advanced features required by professional streamers, such as custom scenes and picture-in-picture via webcam. To access this feature, just click the “ Streaming ” option at the top of Radeon Software . [1]

Radeon Boost [2] is a powerful feature that can provide additional performance when playing certain games. This feature achieves higher FPS by dynamically reducing the resolution of the entire frame, such as when certain input devices detect that your on-screen character is quickly looking left or right while moving. When you are done looking at an area quickly, Boost returns the resolution to its original setting. The degree to which Boost dynamically reduces the resolution can also be adjusted in Radeon Software, for example, you can set the minimum resolution to 50%-80% of the game's native resolution. The purpose of this feature is to reduce the resolution to achieve a smoother experience when you are not concerned about detail and with minimal impact on image quality.

AMD Link is a free app that you can download from the Apple Store or Android Store that puts your desktop PC in your pocket. By installing AMD Link on your phone or tablet, you can access your PC from anywhere with a WiFi or cellular data connection. AMD Link allows you to monitor PC information, take screenshots or live stream online directly from your device via on-screen controls or Bluetooth pairing [1] , and even play PC games directly from your device.

3. Radeon Image Sharpening is only compatible with DirectX 11/12, Vulkan APIs, and DirectX 9 on RX5000 series graphics cards. Hardware compatibility includes consumer-level dGPUs based on GCN architecture and newer, Ryzen 2000 and newer APUs, and does not support mGPUs. 4. Radeon Anti-Lag is only compatible with DirectX 9, DirectX 11, DirectX12, and Vulkan APIs under Windows 7 and 10. Hardware compatibility includes consumer-level dGPUs based on the GCN architecture and newer, Ryzen 2000 and newer APUs, and does not support mGPUs. Some of these features require Adrenalin 2020 or later. GD-157

5. AMD FreeSync technology requires an AMD Radeon graphics card and a FreeSync-enabled monitor. AMD FreeSync Premium technology adds support for low frame rate compensation and a refresh rate of at least 120Hz at the lowest resolution of Full HD. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology further enhances support for display effects, thereby more fully realizing the technology. GD-127
