AMD Advantage
Design Framework
AMD and its global PC partners are redefining high-performance mobile gaming through the new AMD Advantage design framework. AMD Advantage laptops combine AMD Radeon RX 6000M series mobile graphics, AMD Radeon software, and AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors with AMD-exclusive intelligent technologies,
AMD FreeSync Premium
certified displays, high-speed NVME storage, optimal thermal design, and other advanced system design features.
AMD Advantage laptops are designed to deliver a better gaming experience, enhanced performance, and responsiveness. Enhanced features such as AMD SmartShift and AMD Smart Access Memory can significantly improve gaming performance for the system. In addition, AMD Advantage laptops are optimized to provide smooth gaming experience of over 100FPS for today's visually demanding games, unplugged all-day video playback (over 10 hours), 144Hz+ high refresh rate, realistic and clear screen display (over 300 nits), and customizable thermal regulation to ensure a cool experience during long gaming sessions - all of these advantages and features are integrated into a stylish and portable laptop design.
It is expected that there will be multiple AMD Advantage laptops available in 2021. For example,
the ROG Strix G15/17
AMD Advantage version gaming laptops, equipped with AMD Radeon RX 6800M graphics card, AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX mobile processor and AMD Smart technology, are expected to be available in early June at Best Buy and other major retailers; the

notebook, equipped with AMD Radeon RX 6600M graphics card, AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX mobile processor and AMD Smart technology, is expected to be available on JD.com soon; in addition, AMD Advantage laptops including Lenovo and MSI are also expected to be available later this year.
AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution
AMD's image quality enhancement super resolution technology (FSR) now widely supports more than 100 AMD processor and graphics card models and friendly products. FSR provides 4 different high-performance settings, allowing players to adjust the balance between image quality and performance according to their needs and preferences, even in the face of those visually demanding features such as ray tracing, it can also bring ultra-high performance and visually stunning gaming experience. Compared to the original resolution, FSR can provide up to 2.5 times performance enhancement in some specific games through the "Performance" mode.
“AMD has been a strong partner throughout the development of Godfall, delivering stunning visuals and best-in-class performance to the first-ever thrilling looting melee action RPG,” said Keith Lee, CEO of Counterplay Games. “Now, with FidelityFX Super Resolution, AMD is delivering an amazing, platform-agnostic feature that’s easy for developers to implement, and for the Godfall community, it gives us even more performance at higher resolutions for those gorgeous techniques, including ray tracing, to dramatically improve the gaming experience.”
FSR is an open source solution based on industry standards, making it easy for developers to integrate the technology into new and existing games. More details about FSR technology and supported games will be announced on June 22.
