The Global Double Summit hosted by ASPENCORE was grandly opened in Shenzhen today! At the award ceremony of the conference, ADI won the three major product awards of the Global Electronic Achievement Award : " Sensor of the Year ADcmXL3021 ", " Amplifier/Data Converter of the Year AD7616 ", and " Power Management/Voltage Converter of the Year LTM4700 ", and returned with a full load! Now, let's take a look at the "heroic appearance" of these three hard-core products~

The Global Electronics Achievement Award aims to select and honor companies and managers who have made outstanding contributions to promoting innovation in the global electronics industry. The winners are selected by a judging committee composed of senior editors from around the world at ASPENCORE and website user groups from Asia, America, and Europe.

ADcmXL3021
Sensor of the Year

The ADcmXL3021 module is a complete detection system based on ADI 's award-winning MEMS sensor technology , which improves production efficiency and reduces equipment maintenance by monitoring early indicators of mechanical fatigue and failure, and is suitable for a variety of industrial equipment and transportation vehicles. This three-axis vibration sensing module combines MEMS sensors with multiple signal processing functions in a compact form factor, which can simplify the development process and save a lot of bill of materials costs for smart sensor nodes in CbM systems .

The ADcmXL3021 is available in a 23.7 mm × 27.0 mm × 12.4 mm aluminum package with four mounting flanges for mounting using standard machine screws. This package allows for consistent mechanical coupling to the core sensor over a wide frequency range. The electrical interface is via a 14-pin connector on a 36 mm flexible cable, supporting a variety of connector position and orientation options for system mating.

AD7616
Amplifier/Data Converter of the Year

The AD7616 data acquisition system (DAS) is used to enhance smart grid equipment monitoring capabilities, protect these devices from harmful system faults and improve residential and commercial power delivery. The AD7616 DAS integrates 16 channels of dual-path simultaneous sampling, which reduces the need for multiple components in applications with higher channel counts, thereby simplifying design and reducing system cost.

The AD7616 operates from a single 5 V supply and can accept ±10 V, ±5 V, and ±2.5 V true bipolar input signals while sampling each channel pair at a throughput rate of up to 1 MSPS . In addition, the device's input structure eliminates the need for additional external protection circuitry or external signal conditioning, which increases costs. On-chip filters and high input impedance (1 MΩ) eliminate the need for external driver op amps and additional bipolar supplies. The high-precision on-chip ADC provides 90 dB SNR, achieving 0.2-level measurement accuracy and generating more accurate, reliable, and consistent delay data. Using the on-chip oversampling mode, higher SNR performance of 92 dB can be achieved . The AD7616 DAS is suitable for a range of power distribution applications, such as low-voltage relay protection and distribution feeder terminals. The device is also ideal for multiphase motor control and industrial instrumentation applications.

LTM4700
Power Management/Voltage Converter of the Year

The LTM4700 is a dual 50A or single 100A step-down μModule DC/DC regulator. By using innovative heat dissipation packaging technology, ADI has controlled the operating temperature of the LTM4700 to only about 73°C, while the modular solutions of other competing products typically operate at 90°C. Even in an ambient temperature of up to 70°C, with 200 LFM airflow for cooling, the LTM4700 can provide a full load current of 100A in the conversion from 12V IN to 0.8V OUT , and the peak conversion efficiency during the conversion operation is as high as 90%.

The emergence of LTM4700 has changed the design difficulty of low-voltage and high-current systems in the past . At the same time, for applications with higher current, LTM4700 also supports multi-chip cascading , providing load currents of up to 400A-800A to meet the high power requirements of FPGA, ASIC, GPU and microcontrollers in data center processors.
