Abstract: This paper introduces a real-time image acquisition and control system for medical electronic endoscopes based on video codec chips, flash memory and FPGA. The hardware scheme of the whole system and its design block diagram are given in this paper. The principle of ping-pong operation and the FPGA program implementation method of the system are also introduced. Tests show that the system has stable performance, easy maintenance, low cost, high cost performance, and has good application prospects in the field of medical endoscopes. [Author Abstract]
