This paper proposes a scheme for iteratively designing linear transceivers based on the criterion of minimizing the total mean square error (Sum MSE) of the system. This scheme can effectively avoid the disadvantage of the difficulty in calculating Lagrange multipliers in the traditional MMSE design process through the improved design of the receiver, and greatly reduce the design complexity. Since the Lagrange multipliers have analytical solutions, the transmit precoding matrix also has a closed-form solution, and can be effectively solved by a fixed-point iterative algorithm. The receiver at the receiving end does not need to be sent down by the base station, as long as each uses MMSE equalization. Simulation results prove the effectiveness of this method.
