Using LABVIEW virtual instrument technology and OPC technology, a distillation CAN bus measurement and control system is designed and completed. The system is safe and reliable, with a friendly operation interface and complete control functions. It has a high promotion value in other industries such as chemical industry. The quality of its production process control directly affects various indicators such as the production cost of the enterprise. With the continuous development and rise of petrochemical, chemical industry, environmental chemical and other fields, the advantages of large processing capacity and continuous operation of the distillation separation process have been fully utilized. However, as a high-energy separation process, it is inevitable to encounter the contradiction between high purity and high energy consumption of the product in large-scale industrial production. Therefore, achieving high-purity separation of products while reducing energy consumption has become the main goal of distillation discipline and engineering research and development. This inevitably requires that in addition to having a scientific process as a support, it must also be guaranteed by a safe and reliable control system. It is in this context that this paper proposes and designs a distillation CAN bus measurement and control system based on LABVIEW and OPC technology.
