This book explains the basic theory and application of automatic control in a relatively comprehensive way. The book has ten chapters in total. The first eight chapters focus on the introduction of classical control theory and its application, and the last two chapters introduce the linear system theory and absolute control theory in modern control theory. \"BR\" This book once again selects the main contents of the sixth edition and strengthens the explanation of basic theories and their engineering applications. The book introduces the basic concepts of automatic control in an easy-to-understand way, the mathematical models of control systems in time domain, frequency domain and complex domain, as well as their structural diagrams and signal flow diagrams; it explains the time domain analysis method, root locus method, frequency domain analysis method, correction and design methods of linear control systems in a relatively comprehensive way; it discusses the basic theory, mathematical model, stability and steady-state error, dynamic performance analysis and digital correction of linear discrete systems in a relatively detailed way; in the analysis of nonlinear control systems, it gives two commonly used analysis methods, phase plane and description function, and also gives a relatively detailed introduction to the inverse system method of nonlinear control, which is increasingly used; the last two chapters systematically explain the state space analysis and synthesis of linear systems, as well as absolute control methods of dynamic systems, according to the needs of the development of high-tech. There are two appendices at the end of the book for readers to refer to during their studies.
